Where can I stay when I'm travelling between climbing areas? |

Hostels and campsites are a nice way to do it. Climbing huts in Ireland seem to be on the rapid decline and in any event are club owned. Wild camping is "tolerated" in a lot of places but the longer you stay the more likely you will be approached. The less "visible" you are the better also. A good tactic to keep on the right side of locals & landowners is to get the tent up at night and down in the morning and move from place to place. Please apply strict wilderness camping principles i.e. leave the place looking BETTER after you leave than it looked before you arrived.
