How do I meet other climbers in Ireland? |

At the climbing walls on weekday nights. However a lot of the climbing walls are abandoned during the "season". A better bet during summer is on the weekend if the weather is bad. You can also meet climbers at the crag. However the only crags that I would show up at on spec are perhaps Dalkey, Ailladie and Glendalough but generally you aren't guaranteed to see climbers at any of the other crags. Irish climbers are generally a very friendly bunch and I'd like to think that if we were approached by a visitor at a crag that yes we would agree to offer to climb with the visitor for at least one route. Another good way to meet climbers is to subscribe to the forums associated with this site.
